The April 5th Intro to Lethal Force Class is a prereq for this session. 

This 4-hour CQB session is a high-intensity training specific for handguns, with a focus on individual engagements (teamwork is minimal). Expect to:

• Hone clearing skills, including understanding and applying POD's, speeds, aggression, and dynamic scene management
• Target acquisition, including identifying bystanders, threats, dynamic threats, multiple threats, and changing scenarios
• Common CQB environments, such as confined spaces, thresholds, low-light, and crowded localities 
• Establish practices for retention, rapid engagement, CCC, and threat elimination 
• Engage targets and people with force on force simunitions

This is an exceptionally fast-moving course. A basic understanding of weapon manipulation, use, and function is a necessary prereq and will not be provided in this class. Participants should have the necessary level of fitness to engage in use-of-force encounters.  

Prerequisites: 4-Hour Intro to Lethal Force Class

Required Gear to Bring: Comfortable clothing (closed-toed shoes and long pants required). Holster, flashlight, EDC gear.

NO LIVE FIREARMS OR EDGED WEAPONS ARE ALLOWED ONSITE.

Recommended Gear to Bring: Plenty of water and snacks. Eye-pro, gloves.
