This course moves past basic firearm fundamentals and into advanced marksmanship.  It requires a basic knowledge of firearms operation and is designed for the gun-owner to become a better, more efficient marksmen during combative encounters.

This 8-Hour class is held in two sections: 4-hours of in-class and 4-hours live fire.

• Firearm Manipulations
• Rapid-Fire Drills
• Interactive Learning Scenarios

A final live-fire qualification is given at the end of the course. Passing this qualification is a required to attend more advanced TTA firearms courses. 

Prerequisites: Experience

Required Gear to Bring: Comfortable clothing (closed-toed shoes and long pants required). Eye and ear protection. Hat. 

Personal Handgun w/ 400 rounds FMJ or Lead Free ammunition.  External Holster (No under-arm holsters). Minimum of two magazines

Recommended Gear to Bring: Note-taking materials. Plenty of water and snacks. Sack lunch.
